There are a handful of waves on the planet that are basically unsurfable, at least to sane people. Shipstern Bluff is one of those waves. On first inspection, its warping, step-riddled face seems to scream “KEEP OUT”. Like kids at an abandoned house, though, someone’s got to give it a shot and see what’s inside.
