When that receiving end pits you under the lip of a heaving quadruple-up at Tasmania’s infamous slab, you better start praying that you’ll see the sun again. On June 16th, Shipstern Bluff got so angry that it devoured surfers whole. Danny Griffiths, Russell Bierke, Rudi Schwartz, and James McKean all went swimming under the bodyslam of the beast.
