Andreas Ummenhofer considers this clip as a tribute to JJF's work, and in no way an attempt to measure himself against it. However, if the aquatic performances of amateur surfers are obviously a thousand miles from what the Hawaiian champion can offer, the aerial shots are absolutely superb, and the editing perfectly mastered. And what a pleasure to recognize in these images the spots of the Landes beaches, then those of the Basque coast!
