One of surfing’s more unique and creative collaborations today includes Canadian filmmaker JP Veillet and Nicaraguan surfers Kevin Cortez and Jackson Obando. Ironically, the two young men come from a small town named Gigante. The surf community helped fundraise to take the two talents out of those warm, local waters and into the unfamiliar and frigid waves of British Colombia, Canada. One year later the results are ready to view in a 40 minute surf film.
