When Kelly Slater strolls into town most of us are pretty pumped. He’s the best surfer on the planet and he’s a rad human to top it off, so what’s not to get excited about? But then again Kelly has his fair share of haters, like this sponger in Maui who was so stoked to start off 2016 by roasting the 11-time champ that he threw a friendly gesture back his way to celebrate (:22).
Getting vibed in the water can ruin almost anybody’s session. Getting legitimately stuffed and having a guy celebrate afterward is crushing. Not for Kelly though. He gets the last word within a couple waves and throws in the claim to make up for it (:52). Get em, Kelly!
