On the raw, windblown edge of Tasman National Park, a wave breaks with such violence that it’s regarded by many to be one of the heaviest waves on the planet. Riddled with steps, the face of the wave varies far more with each passing set than any other wave–and that’s just part of what makes it so challenging.
