Shane Dorian has reached God status in the surfing world. It’s for good reason–he consistently catches the biggest, gnarliest waves in the biggest, gnarliest lineups in the world. This one, however, is on a whole different level.
During the Peahi event, Dorian snagged more than a handful of bombs. And while local boy Billy Kemper took the event, before it even started, Shane did something that should have been impossible. Since it was before the horn, he wasn’t scored on it. Had it been after the clock started though, it’s almost a sure-thing this would’ve been a 10 point ride.
