A lone paddleboarder has filmed an incredibly close encounter with an orca just metres from the New Zealand shore.
Luke Reilly, of Kuaotunu on New Zealand's North Island, had heard there
were orcas swimming close to shore, so he decided to go an investigate
with his camera, but he didn't think he would get very close.
He was wrong. Paddleboarding just 200m off the beach he spotted some
orcas diving for stingrays under the water, 3News reported.
