Mason Ho doesn't surf like the others. He's not the cliché of the anti-competition guy either. The guy's in his universe. When he is surfing, we can see the pleasure he has in taking waves, tubing and setting 360s. He makes the waves he takes extremely easy, often sharing the tube with others and sending a good big manoeuvre on each section that offers itself to him. From Hawaii to Indonesia, Mason represents the Rip Curl brand by giving them a different image, far from the spirit of competition. He seems to be fearless and also does not hesitate to ride atypical boards.
A relaxed style that makes you want to do the same. But take a dive after you see a clip of Mason, and you'll see that we're not all equal....
