No! Nazaré does not only rhyme with big waves riders and washing machine. Sometimes, the spot can be affordable, leaving room for a few surprises.
Disappeared since his last session in Hossegor in 2016, surfer Sumo Fred David decided to put on his best suit to face the famous Portuguese wave that he knows so well to train there all winter with his partner Justine Dupont. The goal is simple: his buddy Toby Cunningham pulls him in a jet ski before Fred rushes out on the wave as a bodysurfer wearing his inflatable disguise. The rest is to be seen in the video.
What is certain is that after this session, the waterman had to have his sinuses clear.
