Great Lakes surfers are a different breed. For pretty much any other surfer, the conditions on tap in the video on Steve Harvey’s show would not be worth the ten pounds of ice in the beard. The juice is not worth the squeeze. The ends do not justify the means. And so on and so forth. Great Lake surfers, though, love it. Steve Harvey doesn’t get it, but he sure does appreciate it. “I love people like this,” he said. “I love anybody that loves something so much that they do it at this level. He’s obviously having some sort of fun… what it is, I don’t know.”
