We have all dreamed of it, sometimes drawn relentlessly with our color pencils in kindergarten. Since then, it has remained in a corner of our head: the ideal home. Nestled at the edge of a beach, on the edge of a cliff, in a jungle with an only view of a magnificent spot, as background sound the echo of the waves and a small iodized smell in the nostrils. It almost feels like it after all.

To continue to imagine it, here is a selection of Tiny Houses, these small houses created in the United States after the 2008 real estate crisis. In addition to being inexpensive, they are mobile and have all the modern conveniences. Better isolated than a motorhome, less unsafe than a tent, here are some beautiful mobile surf houses...

The surfboard house in Santa Barbara

New on old, that's what the architecture of this small one-story wooden cabin offers. With a surface of 8m2, it was built by Tiny Homes of Santa Barbara. The terrace was entirely made with old surfboards. The price varies from $55 to $65,000 depending on the development options.

The Everglades Container House

And why not live in containers? Nestled in the heart of the Everglades, Florida, this tiny house was created by the Architect PSP studio in New York. Made from recycled materials and the contrast with nature is striking.

French charm

Built to measure for a surfer by Molécule Tiny Homes, the many windows give a breathtaking view of the ocean. With its 17.8 m² surfaces, it has all the options. Even wifi, to stay on the lookout for forecasts. Price: 55 000 €.

The hotel truck from Portugal

Not everyone can buy a Tiny House, so renting can be a good solution. The Surf Truck Hotel was designed by a couple of Portuguese surfers. The truck can accommodate up to six people. For rental, rates vary according to the number of people and the season. It will cost between 700 and 5 500 €.

The chalet in the Netherlands

Strandweelde had the idea of building small individual chalets on the beaches of the Netherlands. With your feet on the water, this luxury campsite must be booked in advance on the agency's website.
