Movies are the great inspiration, it seems, of hover craft freedom, and it’s not just limited to boards. This guy is working on his hover bike, ala the vehicle storm troopers rode on the forested Moon of Endor in Return of the Jedi. And he’s on to something.
Colin Furze is an ex plumber and garage inventor who creates all sorts of rad stuff out of his garage. He’s become a cult youtube star. And he has a brass set, as this hover bike had to be engineered to the perfect weight, as it barely lifted Furze, making it pretty gnarly to ride. Controlling it is a beast, as he so aptly demonstrates. The rotors are just waiting to turn the untrained’s legs into oatmeal. Regardless, a glimpse of the future? The hover quest continues.
