Every surfer has a bucket list. Waves they dream of surfing, waves they’ll spend thousands to ride. Desert Point is surely on more than a few of those lists, and it’s for good reason. It is, without a doubt, one of the most incredible waves on earth. It’s a trek, though–like many of the waves in the area, it requires a decent amount of travel. It’s relatively fickle, too, but when a big groundswell roars through, the barrels Desert Point serves up are something out of a dream. Watch out for that grower section though… because, as Tai Graham can attest, it can be a nightmare.
