21 in Northern Spain is one of those spots that’s pretty dependent on tide. Not the waves, so much, but the exit. We’ve probably all had something like this happen: you’re trying to make it across that narrow section of beach at full sprint when you realize that nope, the ocean’s going to beat you. It’s not a great feeling. But when it’s pumping like this and the tide starts to come up, it might be a good idea to get out a little earlier. Or later, maybe. Either way, just don’t get out when these guys did.
