Nazaré wasn’t always looked at the way it is these days. For years, many deemed it a novelty wave. Only a handful of people surfed it on its biggest days, and the surf world, for the most part, turned its nose up. Now, though, everyone has come to their senses. Nazaré is, without a doubt, one of the most powerful waves on earth, and last Thursday, things went absolutely nuclear.
