Kelly Slater has been in the surfing public’s eye for a long, long time. He’s the owner of an incredible amount of accolades–11 world titles, one of People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People”, Baywatch actor, Eddie winner, Pipe Master, one of GQ’s “25 Coolest Athletes of All Time,” the Willy Wonka of wave pools… hell, the U.S. House of Representatives even passed a bipartisan resolution honoring him.
