Surfing isn’t popular in Russia. Only a few have traveled there for waves, and the journey is never easy. But there are waves there, and where there are waves, there will be surfers. In this case, the surfers are Konstantin Kokorev, Sergey Rasshivaev, and Nikolay Rahmatov, and the wave are in Russia’s Murmansk region.
The film was shot over the course of a full year–in different seasons with different conditions and different moods. It’s a film about surfing, but more than that, it’s a film about traveling, enjoying life, and chasing your dreams.
