Craig Anderson is one of the most stylish surfers in the world. It’s not often you see someone as fluid as he is on a surfboard–it’s as though the movement of the wave he’s on is translated directly into his surfing. I often wonder how well someone like Craig would fare on the world tour, but it’s something I’d hate to see. There is a wide gap between surfing for points and surfing for style, and Anderson is most certainly not in the points camp.
In Kai Neville’s newest edit, Craig Anderson hunts for spots that are difficult to access and even more difficult to surf. “I like being mysto in the desert,” he writes. “I like being in the jungle.”
