one false move and this guy is done for. Professional mad man Zak Maytum just took what has to be one of the fastest downhill skate runs ever. In fact, with Maytum’s speeds clocking in around 70 miles per hour, he was fairly close to the world record. Mischo Erban holds that honor from a 2010 run with a top speed of 80.83 miles per hour. Though it was a few clicks shy of the world record, footage from the Maytum’s 70 mile-per-hour run is next level stuff – sparks literally fly as he puts his gloves to the pavement and green trees whizz by in a blur. Toss in some Metallica and this video, as the description aptly warns, will: “have your face f*ckin’ melted.”
