There’s no doubt about it… Bethany Hamilton and Kelly Slater are two of the most influential surfers in the world. With the Lowers event starting its engines, the two sat down with the folks over at the WSL to talk shop.
Hamilton recently got the news that she’d be the women’s wildcard, and everyone agrees that it’s a good call. “As far as the girls’ wildcards go,” said Kelly, “I think this one of the best ones I’ve ever seen.”
