Every once in a while, a storm hits that’s one for the books. Of course, in Hawaii, those storms happen a little more frequently than in a lot of other places, but on the east side of Kauai, things got really, really big. For the last few days, the tiny, quiet island has seen a run of swell of the likes that hasn’t been seen in a long, long time… and it is a beautiful sight.
But if you’re thinking about buying a ticket, don’t expect to find it like this. It’s not usually anything resembling what you’re seeing above.
