A BICYCLE stuntman has become the first person in the world to achieve a quadruple backflip on a BMX.
Jed Mildon risked broken bones – and far worse – to nail the feat, spectacularly launching off a ramp into the air, spinning four times, and landing steadily on his wheels.
His competitive Nitro Circus teammates had attempted and failed to accomplish the stunt previously – all with bone-crunching consequences.
Ambulances were called to collect at least two of the riders after their efforts went horribly awry, resulting in the men’s flying bodies crash-landing on the ramp.
However, when Jed steps up for his attempt, all goes perfectly to plan.
Though it should be stressed – DO NOT try this at home.
