While it’s usually a treasure trove of internet ridiculousness, last week there was a much larger diamond than usual. Both bodyboarding and the early ’90s (or late ’80s) were f*cking radical as hell. Everything was neon, Oakley made those hideous Robocop sunglasses, and it was ok for the kind of thing you see above to actually be a thing.
If, like Surfer’s last cover said, “surfing’s past is its present and its future,” we can’t wait to see what the future holds. It better hold neon!
