In the wake of finally accepting that we have lost one of the world’s
best barrel riders, a few things have become very clear: 1) The issues
in Brazil are real. 2) The love that fellow surfers, countrymen, and
sports enthusiasts alike have for Ricardo dos Santos is insurmountable.
3) The way that dos Santos could ride a barrel was of an angelic nature.
This edit from earlier this season on the North Shore serves as
celebration of Ricardo doing what he loved and his fearless approach
throughout. RIP.
