With a huge swell hitting Hawaii and predicted wash-throughs at almost every North Shore spot, there was a mass pilgrimage of surfers to Maui. Those without Pipe Masters obligations packed their bags and jumped rocks, arriving at Jaws with the swell on December 10th. From the looks of it, and the looks of the washed out mess on the North Shore, they made the right call.
