A surfer drowned this morning at the famous spot of Noosa Point in Australia. It was 7:40 a.m. local time in Tea Tree when the 34-year-old man came out of the water unconscious. Sent directly to the hospital, he was never resuscitated.
A tragedy that occurred while Noosa is currently hosting a solid swell with very favorable weather conditions. This morning, the spot was glassy and swept by a light offshore wind, revealing magnificent barrels.
According to the first witnesses, the man was trapped between the rocks and the series that was shifting, as he tried to reach the open sea.
