If you know one who shouldn't be afraid of The Wedge, it's Jamie O'Brien. The one who has made Pipe his ideal playground is not on his first try when it comes to taking out the foam board in the shorebreak. And we must admit it, it was surprising until now not to have seen JOB attack the most feared shorebreak on this planet. That has now been done. One of the few who can make The Wedge a common recreational wave. If for us it's a pleasure to watch ( Pipe Master 2004 anyway), the locals won't all keep a good memory of the Hawaiian who wasn't asked to make himself at home... and some didn't hesitate to make him notice!
