KIRKLAND, Wash. - A man was killed after he was thrown out of a vehicle on southbound I-405 in Kirkland around 3:40 a.m. Monday.
The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Sidney Jahn.
Troopers first reported a possible car-surfing incident, but they later said Jahn was either hanging out of the sunroof or the rear window of a light-colored BMW.
The car hit a guardrail and Jahn was ejected, according to witnesses. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the vehicle continued to drive southbound after Jahn was ejected.
