Every now and then, if you’re lucky, you get to surf with a dolphin. If you’re even luckier, you’ll see one jump. And if you’re the luckiest of all, you’ll see one surfing wave. So how can you see a dolphin and be unlucky? Well, just ask Jed Gradisen, a 13-year-old from Western Australia (who also happens to rip). Jed was paddling out when a dolphin decided it would be a missile for the afternoon. The dolphin, going at one can only assume to be mach-speed, just missed Jed, but managed to drill a hole through the grom’s board.
