Padang Padang is a household name for surfers for a reason: it is perfect. But one of the widest circles of hell for a surfer is to sit back and watch perfect waves roll through while not being able to surf them. Such is the case with the filmmaker of the clip you see above. “I bust my foot on a rock two days ago,” he wrote, “so I didn’t go out yesterday and got the drone up for some fun footage instead. The surf was average but the images are nice.” And he’s right; the surf IS average… for Padang Padang.
