The ocean is the one true physical connection of every place, and by extension every person, on Earth. That alone makes it worthy of more than just one dedicated day of celebration each year, and as surfers we know that. In fact, we do a better job of practicing it than anyone else because this is where we choose to play and live each and every day. So let’s take a minute to dig through some amazing thoughts from authors, presidents, musicians and plenty other inspiring figures, about just why we love all that saltwater so much.
