Surfing is supposed to be fun, and only fun. Unless you’re making a living off of it, taking it too seriously–which is something way too many people do–is just ruining your fun. And if you’re like everyone else, you started surfing because it’s pretty much the most fun you can have, apart from explosions and sex. Small waves, big waves, crowds, no crowds… just floating around in the ocean sliding around on lumps of water is nearly always surprisingly fun.
Ari and Raf Browne have fun. And while they both surf “regular” surfboards incredibly well, when they’re on a couple of weird little shapes, the fun-factor looks like it increases tenfold.
