If you’re like us, you’ve been surfing a whole lot and Christmas shopping… well, not so much. Luckily there’s still time. But don’t bother giving a loved one the same old ugly sweater they’ll never wear. And for the love of God, don’t buy them one of those self-balancing hoverboards. They’re blowing up. Literally.
Meet the SEABOB, the coolest present you can give your loved ones for Christmas this year. The SEABOB is a motorized water sled that allows its users to glide effortlessly above or below the water’s surface, simulating the high degree of maneuverability similar to that of a dolphin.
The SEABOB comes in a variety of different colors and speeds, which really depends on how much you’re willing to spend. So how much does it cost to own one of these bad boys? The SEABOB S5, which is their top-of-the-line water craft that reaches speeds up to 12.5 mph, goes for around $10,000 brand new. There’s also a listing on their website that offers second-hand devices that are half the price. Also, there are a few companies out there that offer similar products that don’t go as fast for just a few hundred dollars. Either way these things look like crazy fun, not to mention the promotional video’s soundtrack is absolutely hilarious.
