On a recent trip to Peniche, Portugal, Mason was asked to don the event jersey and compete against the world's best surfers. After mixing up the world title race, Mason opted to do some searching of the coastline on his own. To his delight Mason found sand bar after sand bar offering juicy tubes and perfect launch ramps. All in all it was a trip to remember for one of Hawaii's finest.
