Yes – the Lowers raid was awesome. The massive attack in 2012 was the single biggest overtaking of the dearly beloved peak in all of its deep and decorated history. It was calculated with militant precision and had no shortage of manthongs, cross-dressers, and hog-shaped softops.
So in honor of the solid southern hemi and classic summertime conditions that are currently gracing the California coast, we thought we’d reminisce on one of the most entertaining events ever to take place at Lowers. Are we suggesting that the raid should be resurrected? Well, we’re not saying it shouldn’t. But then again, some things are better left remembered than repeated.
