After the ASP made a no-go call for
the Big Wave World Tour event at Punta de Lobos, Chile, last spring
Ramon Navarro and Los Buscagigantes paddled out into a classic session
during the biggest swell of the year. Aside from the usual faces, global
surf pilgrim and ex WSL surfer, Damien Hobgood also showed up and under
the aegis of Ramon Navarro, and paddled into the bomb of the day.
Watching Punta at it's best should be one considered one of the wonders
of the modern world. This wave is so big and so perfect it boggles the
