The Quiksilver In Memory of Eddie Aikau recently held its
opening ceremony at Waimea Beach Park, signalling the start of the
waiting period. The Eddie hasn’t run in half a decade thanks to
the strict wave size minimum of 40 feet. Hopefully this’ll be the year
