World of X Games debuts Episode 2 of “Big Wave Hellmen” – a three-episode series with five surfers seeking the biggest waves in the world — tonight at 5PM PT on ESPN, ESPN2, or ABC .
The three one-hour programs document the
journey and competition of big wave surfers: Mark Healey (HAW), Shane
Dorian (HAW), Greg Long (USA), Grant “Twiggy” Baker (ZAF) and Ryan
Hipwood (AUS) in their quest and the title of “Big Wave Hellman of the
Year.”
In the video below, Brandon Graham sits down with the Big Wave Hellmen surfers to discuss “Risk vs. Fear.”
Each surfer’s efforts will be judged by big
wave legends Greg Noll and Mike Parsons, and accomplished surf
journalist Chris Dixon, with scores determined by the height of each
wave multiplied by degree of difficulty combined with execution.

shot on location throughout Hawaii, California, Mexico, France, South
Africa, Tahiti, Australia and in other international waters.
