Remember when drone footage became a thing? All of the sudden, you could watch surfing through the eyes of a bird. A flood of ooohs and ahhhs ensued, followed by drones becoming commonplace and the flood subsiding to a drizzle. Well now here’s a new angle and a new flood. Photographer Ben Thouard just made this clip of Teahupoo from underwater and it’s pretty enough to allow us to let go of our high-performance fetishism (if only for a fleeting moment). Do enjoy.
