When he isn’t punting aerials, Chippa Wilson is often found cruising sleepy back roads on one of his retro motorcycles. Recently, Chippa teamed up with aftermarket motorcycle parts designer British Customs to create his personal custom motorcycle known as the ‘Beach Sled’. Built from a 2015 Triumph Bonneville T100, the Beach Sled was inspired by the original adventure bikes ridden by such legends as Steve McQueen, Bud Ekins, and Eddie Mulder, which they called desert sleds. Watch the first part of British Customs’ reveal of the bike below, and check out the full build notes on the BC site to get an idea of how the bike was built using mostly bolt-on parts.
