“I love surfing and I love to film surfing. Filming from land is easy, filming with a drone is even easier, but jumping in the ocean with a water housing is so demanding! I have filmed in the ocean quite a bit starting when the GoPro 1 came out, but not in real big surf. In this video I filmed at Waimea when it was 25 ft (faces) and on Valentine’s Day at Pipe. It was a lot of work and I got some sets on the head, but the shots I got were worth it.”
