After the boat he happened to be in got almost-capsized (sort of, in
retrospect), Healey decided that off was better than on. And just like
anyone that’s way more comfortable in the water than on land, the shark
diver/big wave madman pulled the ‘chute when he thought the time was
right. And now, after all that mayhem is done and dusted, it’s an
unlikely entry in the Wipeout of the Year category of the 2015 XXL Big Wave Awards.
